Past Films

Dili Film Works has produced a number of short films, documentaries, and a feature film since 2010.

In 2010 Dili Film Works was honoured to receive funding from two prestigious film festivals: The International Film Festival Rotterdam and the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam. The funding enabled Dili Film Works to run two film and television workshops to train the first generation of East Timorese filmmakers. Five short films were produced as part of these workshops: Manu Futu, Salvador, Tais Market, Nitpicking and Vagabond.  In 2011 Dili Film Works produced A Guerra da Beatriz, Timor Leste’s first feature film
